Consequently, most of my professional and extracurricular experience is media-based — I design websites, write, take pictures, copy edit, and shoot and edit short films. WEB DESIGN
Web production and editorial associate | Natural Resources Defense Council, an environmental non-profit organization
- Work with other members of the website staff to provide and maintain content for NRDC's website. This includes editing, hand coding, and updating documents using Homesite, Microsoft Office, FTP, and online administrative tools. I create original graphics featured on the website's home page and topic home pages, using Photoshop and Illustrator. I also manage the online production of OnEarth, NRDC's award-winning magazine.
In April 2007, NRDC received an honorable mention from the Webby Awards for a web feature that I designed, showcasing the effects of global warming on national parks in the U.S. West.

The Sonnet Project | Director of Photography, Actress
- Composed shots in several locations around Manhattan; filmed individual
actors and shot B-roll footage. The Sonnet Project is the film version of Shakespeare's 152 sonnets, acted out with modern issues (but with Shakespeare's words). It was shot using 152 different actors, on location in all five boroughs. I performed Sonnet 101 on the Brooklyn Bridge and filmed roughly 10-15 sonnets. (shot on DV)
